Click the control panel icon on the top toolbar (shown in image to left).
And then select the "Variables" tab. This lists everything, and you can save that list as well.
There should be a save button (shown below).

In Excel we import the downloaded variables by using DATA - From Text/CSV from the top menu.
There are 4 Vensim system variables that we will need to remove: TIMESTEP, SAVEPER, INITIAL TIME and FINAL TIME.
