We are all experiencing all the time. **Experience** is whole. Things look different depending where we stand and from whose perspective. Attention determines experience. What gets measured gets attention.
We **explore** our experience by asking questions. Why? What caused that? CLD's enable us to our explore our experience and that of others by making variables and relationships explicit. We move from wholeness to parts and relationships. Time becomes important.
We can also explore what we might do differently going forward. We can use our CLDs to identify leverage points: Those variables where a small change can create a huge change across the system.
Our exploration has no impact until we take action. We design **experiment**s (projects) around our identified leverage points. We implement them and see how they affect our experience. This is how we learn.
